Fresh & locally sourced
Our philosophy at the Horseshoe is simple, fresh, simple and tasty sourced from the local suppliers in North Yorkshire like R & J Butchers, Dennis Crooks for our fresh Fish & Beacon Farm Ice Cream in Whitby. We also ensure we offer the best value for money possible.
Whether you come to the Horseshoe for our fabulous 28 day 10oz Sirloin Steak or our 16oz Gammon topped with eggs from very own chickens, you’ll find some of the best pub food in the area and great value for money.

We have a variety of children’s favourites available & everything is created in-house, including the favourite fish bites, cod fillet in home-made batter.

We offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes and vegan options, because everything is prepared fresh it’s simple to change the menu to suit your dietary requirements.
Dining
Although the menu is the same we offer two options for dining, you can eat in the bar area or a more formal option is the dining room.
